After so much work drama, finally I resigned this Monday 9/17. My last day at work will be 10/1. Where am I going? No where as I don't have anything line up yet. In some ways, this is a blessing because I really need a break from work to detox. :p
Although I don't know about my future, I am glad that God knows. I do believe He is in control and He is growing my faith through this circumstance. In midst of all the work drama, I found myself originally angry, frustrated, sad and then depressed. After some time in my own slump, God removed me from all that. Now I am very clear that God is with me every step of the way, no matter how uncertain things may look.
God has challenged me to put Him first above all. I am convicted to prioritize my face time with Him as the first thing I do in the morning. For a late riser, believe it or not, I am finding myself getting up early in the morning to pray and do my QT/BSF homework at 6:30 or 7 am. (Surely not with my own strength b/c I just cannot be this consistent. God woke me up each morning!) Before going to bed, I prayed again. All this face time with God, I can't help to think that God is using this period of my life to draw me closer to Him.
For those who are wondering... yes, I have been sending my resumes to places. Recently, I have this thought that praying for my next job actively is even better than sending out resumes actively. Yup, I am still processing what God is teaching me in this situation. Isn't it interesting that this whole situation is becoming a blessing? God sure does great things beyond our understanding.
If you see this posting and want to pray for me, just pray that God will provide and I will continue to grow in this faith journey. Thanks! :)
